Participants: The tournament is open to all Filipino-Austalian and non-Filipino Australian provided that they are endorsed by a Filipino Australian.
Note: The prizes will be given on the assumption that there are minimum 40 players. Organisers reserve the right to adjust the amount of prizes if there are few participants.
Players are eligible for one prize only
Entry Fee : $ 15.00 (no concession)
Registration : 10:00 am - 10:20 am
Rate of play : 20 minutes each. Play to finish
Play Format : 6-round Swiss System.
Playing schedule:
- Round 1 -- 10:20 am - 11:00 am
- Round 2 -- 11:10 am - 11:50 pm
- Round 3 -- 12:00 pm - 12:40 pm
- Lunch break 12:40 pm - 1:10 pm
- Round 4 -- 1:10 pm - 1:50 pm
- Round 5 -- 2:00 pm - 2:40 pm
- Round 6 -- 2:50 pm - 3:30 pm
- Tie break -- 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
- Awarding of prizes -- 6:00 pm
In the event of tie
1. 5-minute blitz will be used to break the tie.
2. Player who get two points higher than his/her opponent wins the tie
