Leonardo suggested a new intra club format which resulted in our Inaugural Autumn Swiss Teams tournament, which ran over 7 weeks, starting on 23rd February
Time control 90 mins per player plus 10 seconds per move.
Teams selected in rating order as below, 32 players 4 per team,

Rd 3 Karpov were joined by Tal half a point in front of Anand

Rd 4 saw little change as most teams drew

Board 1 saw Leonardo Tenorio record 3.5 from 4, Krste Blazeski won again to register 4 wins from 4 games on board 2
Board 3 Stephen Stipic 3.5 from 4 and board 4 David Trajecvski 3.5 from 4 al playing well
Rd 5 saw the top of the table clash with Karpov winning against Tal who were without Leonardo, Krste moved up a board but lost on board 1. Anand remained half a point behind Karpov with a win over Kramnik

Rd 6 saw Karpov lose badly to Kasparov a slip to equal third one point behind Anand

This meant 6 teams were in with a chance of winning with 2 pts separating them and only one round remaining
Rd 7 saw Team Karpov grab the lead in the final round with a resounding 4-0 win over Kramnik to win the inaugural Autumn teams championship
