Rooty Hill Club Open 2011 - Presentation Night

A very strong field, with four players now over 2000, but in a surprise result, Leonardo Tenorio (1839) was undefeated with 7 wins and 2 draws, to win by half a point from Angelito Camer (2077). Congratulations Leonardo we have a new name on the Rooty Hill Open Trophy

Hans Muller

Hans Muller (1782) beat Jeff Cabilin (1898) in a very exciting match, to claim the u1900 prize

Nikola Vujasin(1571) beat Danny Pigram in an upset, after looking lost, to win the u1650

John Hepworth (1387) beat Justin Murphy (1493) in a very tight game to claim the u1500 prize

Rishi Dutta

Young Rishi Dutta (1476) accepting an upset prize for beating Joe Ymalay (1739) Rishi is only 10, but I predict, he will be a very stronger player in years to come.
