Welcome to 2008, hope you all had a great Holiday season

Last Monday we held our annual Transfer Chess Tournament.

This Monday 14-Jan Handicap Lightning Tournament

1-Mar Sat Rooty Hill RSL Rapid Tournament - Our first Saturday Rapid of 3 we will hold this year, as part of an 8 tournament series around Sydney Results and the full program at www.chessaustralia.com.au/rapid/ there will be a link on the Rooty Hill webpage.

As the WSCP will be in a different format this year, we are also planning a big boards match against Parramatta on 21-Apr Big Boards match versus Parramatta (Home) 8-May Thurs Big Boards match versus Parramatta (Away) 90min/40 move game with 15mins to finish

Membership fees are now due $30.00 for the 2008 Calender year $20.00 for Concession

Membership fees cover: Membership of the Rooty Hill RSL Chess Club, Associate Membership of NSWCA for 2008. Full Membership of NSWCA, if you play in the Sydney Grade matches or any NSWCA tournament in 2008. Or if you advise our Treasurer if you want full membership.
