Last Saturday 26 September 2009 - Woodcroft Chess Tournament The Rooty Hill Chess club ran a 1 day allegro (15 min) chess tournament at the Woodcroft Community Centre, 31 entries, the winner was Ed Agulto 6.5/7 from Norman Longjas 6/7 and third was Armen Ayvazyan. Like last year, it was a hard fought game for all of the participants. Ed Agulto emerged victorious on account of 6 wins and a draw in the 7 round swiss format. Last year's winner Eric Tumanon came 5th.
